A former Boeing employee who called out the aircraft manufacturer for safety issues has died, less than three months after the suicide of another whistleblower. Joshua Dean, 45, died after a brief illness of the flu, pneumonia and MRSA. He had worked as an auditor for a company that supplied Boeing with parts for the 737 MAX planes and alleges managers failed to act after he notified them of defects.
