Scammers are increasingly targeting older adults with a variety of schemes, including sweepstakes, impersonation, and text message scams, according to local law enforcement.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Elder Abuse Task Force, along with other agencies, is working to raise awareness and protect vulnerable individuals.
