Getting to know Redding police. As I was doing a cop watch, Officer Vega called for backup while looking up my information. After 17 minutes of sitting in his car, he approached me by name as if he had ever met me before. I’ve seen this intimidation tactic used before as if to say they have my information and are running my name for warrants. As I’ve said before, I treat everyone as they treat me. Come at me with some respect and you’ll get some respect. Come at me sideways and with some sarcastic well-wishes and you’ll get what you give.
