Allegations on social media by activist Michael Amushelelo that a group of Chinese employers assaulted and caused serious injury to a worker and left him for dead have unleashed a series of reactions from various parties, all saying the claims are false and devoid of any truth.

In reaction to the Amushelelo posts, police spokesperson Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi appealed to the public not to post misinformation on social media.
