Police accused of failing 14-year-old child sexual abuse victim

Marlon first contacted Sky News a year ago to speak about his teenage daughter who was repeatedly going missing for up to two weeks.

His daughter, Scarlett, now 18, has waived her anonymity to talk about what was really happening, confirming her father’s worst fears that she was being sexually exploited by older men.

“I’d wake up and there would be loads of bruises on my legs and I didn’t know where they’d come from,” she says.
