Section 50 of the police reform act is the go to legislation to abuse in order to obtain peoples details. It’s far too easy for a constable to make up whatever they deem as being anti-social and the problem with this legislation is the fact that they made the offence the refusal to give details rather than the anti-social behaviour itself.

Section 50 of the police reform act should be repealed.
