Minneapolis PD | 6.12.24| Foot pursuit of an armed suspect that resulted in an OIS

On June 16, 2024, Officers with Minneapolis PD responded to a call for service regarding a man with a gun. Officers later located a possible suspect and as they tried to make contact with the suspect, a foot pursuit ensued. As the officers caught up to the suspect, suspect presented a firearm and an officer involved shooting occurred. Multiple officers discharged their firearms and no officers were injured in this incident.
