A man was killed and two others injured after being shot while dining at a restaurant in Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Brickfields, last night.
The incident occurred at 10.50pm when three men, aged between 30 and 50, were approached by two suspects on a motorcycle.
According to Brickfields district police chief Assistant Commissioner Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood, the suspects fired several shots at the group before fleeing the scene.
One victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the other two are receiving treatment at UMMC—one with serious injuries, the other with minor wounds.
Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage to determine the motive and identify the suspects. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
