LIVE COURT CAM: Supreme Judicial Court Hearing, MA v. Karen Read – Killer or Cover-Up Murder Trial | Karen Read has appealed her case to the highest court in Massachusetts to get two charges dropped: Second-degree murder and leaving the scene.

Read, then 41, was accused of striking her boyfriend, Boston PD officer John O’Keefe, with her SUV and leaving him to die in a snowstorm after she dropped him off at a fellow officer’s house after a night of drinking. Prosecutors say they plan to retry the case against Read; however, Read’s defense maintains that a corrupt investigation framed her. Court TV broadcast Read’s first trial and will livestream the proceedings of her appeal.
