Five CISF personnel including one inspector, one head constable and one lady constable have been arrested by Baguihati police station in Kolkata for allegedly posing as fake income tax officers raiding a promoter’s house in the middle of the night and allegedly looting cash and jewellery. Three lakh of cash and a lot of gold jewellery were allegedly looted from the house in the name of seizure. The incident took place around 2 am in the midnight on 18th March in Chinar Park area under Baguihati police station of Bidhan Nagar police Commissionerate. However, as soon as the investigation started, the racket was exposed by Bidhannagar police.
