Good Samaritan offers lift to police officer chasing down Louisiana shoplifter

An unlikely police chase went down in Louisiana Saturday when a Good Samaritan rushed to the scene and helped Slidell Police Department’s Sgt. Jeff Kahrs track down a female shoplifter who had fled from him moments and escaped in a silver Buick with a male accomplice. The Slidell local helped Kahrs and backup officers track down the accomplices, who were swiftly arrested. Kelsey Baird, 34, and Eric Boudreaux, 45, were charged with theft and resisting an officer by flight. Baird was charged with possession of narcotics. #Crime #PoliceChase #Louisiana
