Excessive Force & Police Brutality in Columbus Ohio ❗️❗️❗️ Trigger Warning ❗️

🚨 POLICE BRUTALITY ALERT — FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH 🚨

On July 21, 2025, multiple law enforcement agencies — Franklin County Sheriff’s Dept., Madison Township Police, Obetz Police, Columbus Police, and Groveport Madison Police — illegally raided a family’s home over what turned out to be a swatting call.

Officers spoke to the family through a window, yet still broke down the door without a warrant and opened fire on their two German Shepherds — beloved family pets.

💔 Zoe, the female dog, was killed.
🐾 Bear, the male, was shot and is now fighting for his life at a vet hospital. His recovery is expected to cost over $30,000.

The family is devastated.

Even worse: None of the departments involved have released body cam footage. No transparency. No accountability.

📢 This is not just about pets. This is about reckless abuse of power, violent escalation, and a system that hides behind silence.

We demand:

➡️ Accountability for the officers involved.
