At the recent protest in Epsom, a scene unfolded that perfectly sums up the state of policing in this country right now.
A young boy — misinformed, yes, but hardly a violent criminal — threw a few eggs at a house. Stupid? Absolutely. Arrestable? Sure. But what happened next is exactly why people are losing faith in the system.
Instead of dealing with actual criminals, illegal gangs, violent offenders, or the chaos pouring across the Channel… our police launched themselves FULL FORCE at a kid over eggs.
The boy is grabbed, slammed, and pinned like a terrorist suspect — knee on his chest, face shoved down, and clear visible distress. All over a petty offence that should’ve taken a firm talking-to and a lift home to his parents.
But this is modern policing:
Soft on serious crime
Soft on disorder
Soft on migrants running amok
But apparently VERY hard on a British kid throwing eggs
This is exactly why people are protesting.
This is exactly why trust is collapsing.
This is exactly why Britain feels upside-down.
The police were right to stop him — but the force used tells you everything about their priorities today.
Watch it and judge for yourself.
