Dr Aqab Malik talks about the future of Afghanistan after the recent takeover by the Taliban.
This is the Full-Length Talk without time restrictions on the delivery of the talk and Q & A session afterwards. The general presentation is similar to the one that was given on 09 December 2021: however, without time restrictions Dr Malik is able to provide a more detailed explanation of the situation confronting Afghanistan after the Taliban Takeover.
Dr. Aqab Malik, a British-born academic, studied the Afghan conflict as part of his doctorate in Strategic and Nuclear Studies. He also Taught and undertook Research at a number of Academic Institutions, including the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University, the National Defence University, and was Honoured with the Prestigious Fulbright Scholar Award by the US Government to conduct Research on Geostrategic Affairs at the Elliott School for International Affairs at George Washington University. He has also worked on Counter-Terrorism and advised the Pakistan government on the Afghan Conflict and the Taliban.
