Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal gets bail in Excise Policy case: Here’s what the Supreme Court said

The Supreme Court, Friday, ruled that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal must be released on bail. A bench of Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan, which had previously reserved its order on 5 September were acting on two pleas filed by Kejriwal. While the first dealt with a challenge to the Delhi HC’s 5 August order, denying him bail; the second relates to the quashing of his arrest by the CBI under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
