Zayna Iman has since alleged she was raped by GMP while in their custody. Initially, Zayna Iman alleged she was raped in the police van on route to Pendleton police station after she passed out in the van where she alleged she was drugged (as she is resilient to the drugs she was taking), but after some ‘memory recollecion issues’, Zayna now alleges she was raped in the police cell the following day where GMP has confirmed CCTV has been lost. Zayna Iman has the name of the police officer that she says raped her but has unusually not yet released this crucial information.
