CCTV footage showing the “high level of violence” used in the alleged assault of three police officers at Manchester airport has been shown to jurors.
Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 20, and his brother, Muhammad Amaad, 26, both from Rochdale, are on trial at Liverpool crown court over the alleged attack on July 23 last year.
PC Zachary Marsden and PC Ellie Cook, who were armed, and PC Lydia Ward, who was unarmed, were responding to an incident at the Starbucks cafe in Terminal 2 arrivals in which Amaaz was said to have headbutted a customer.
