365 protesters arrested supporting Palestine Action in London

Hundreds of protesters gathered in Parliament Square, London, to support Palestine Action, a group recently proscribed by the UK government under anti-terror laws. The demonstrators, many of whom sat peacefully on the ground while writing messages of solidarity, aimed to challenge the government’s decision to ban the organisation. Police moved in and arrested over 365 people for showing support, enforcing the new law that criminalises any association with the group. The government’s ban carries severe penalties, including lengthy prison sentences, as part of broader efforts to curb activities it deems linked to extremism.
