A Corentyne resident has expressed his frustration with the Guyana Police Force, specifically officers at the Springlands Police Station, alleging that they brutalized him and a friend on December 25, 2024.
The incident reportedly occurred after he accompanied the friend to the station following a misunderstanding with other patrons at the Sees and Breeze Bar in Corriverton.
33 year β old Matthew Gangapersaud of Number 63 Village, said he decided to come forward with his story because, instead of addressing his report, the police allegedly charged him with two offenses.
